Group Therapy
A lower-cost option for receiving Counseling services is to participate in a Group. Not only does it cost less, but you have the opportunity to feel supported and validated in knowing that you are not alone. Groups are confidential, intimate (there are usually up to only 6 people in a group), and tailored to meet each group member's needs. I provide a variety of groups, although they may not all be available at all times, so please check with me by calling or sending me an email. If you're interested in a group, please get in touch. I can let you know when you will be able to join a group, and we will set up a free 30 minute consultation in which we can meet in person. At that time, I will fill you in on the details of the group and answer any of your questions. Then I will gather a little bit of information about you and what you're looking for so that I can feel confident that you'll be a good fit for the group and that it can meet your needs. Due to my screening process, I'm able to do my best to put people together that I feel will have a positive experience together and will be able to achieve their goals within a chosen group.
The formats of my groups sometimes vary. Some groups are 8 weeks long and closed to new members after the group begins therefore they require a commitment upfront. Other groups may only require a month to month commitment, while some may be on a drop-in basis without any commitment. Workshops will be offered as well so get in touch if you have an interest in a group or workshop!
